Description

A no fuss snack that can be dressed up or down.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 summer squash, cut into 1 inch wedges
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Set your oven’s broiler on high, arranging rack so that the squash ends up being about 2 inches from the heat.
  3. Place squash wedges, oil and spices in a mixing bowl and toss to coat.
  4. Transfer wedges to baking sheet in a single row, making sure they don’t overlap.
  5. Broil for 5 minutes, or until golden.
  6. Carefully flip each wedge and broil for another 2 minutes.
  7. Enjoy by themselves or with a favorite dip.
