Paleo Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Description
These paleo chocolate covered strawberries are extremely easy to make and turn out just like store bought! Bets part? They are incredibly delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries with leaves
- 16 oz dark chocolate bar, broken into pieces
- Optional: chopped roasted almonds, roasted pecans or roasted macadamia nuts
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet plate with wax/parchment paper and set aside.
- Wash and pat dry strawberries and set aside.
- Melt chocolate in a double broiler. Pin a strawberry with a toothpick and dip it in the chocolate; twist it a few times to ensure strawberry is fully coated. Place chocolate dipped strawberry on the lined baking sheet and add chopped nuts. Repeat until all strawberries are covered in chocolate and nuts.
- Chill strawberries for 1 hour to allow the chocolate to harden.
