Description

This recipes makes the Best Ever BBQ Ribs (Slow Cooked & Grilled). It’s a wonderful meal for weekends or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 rack of pork ribs, membrane removed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can of beer
  • 1/2 the yield of my Paleo BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  1. Make sauce. Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes or so. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Add mixture to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Refrigerate.
  2. Prepare the ribs. Combine honey and spices in a small mixing bowl. Place ribs in large baking dish, rub honey mixture all over and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. The next day, add onions to crockpot and add ribs on top. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Remove ribs from crockpot and gently brush them with the sauce. Preheat the grill to medium-high, and grill ribs until grill-marks are created, about 6 mins. Carefully remove ribs from the grill, place them on a serving plate and brush them with more Paleo BBQ Sauce. Serve right away.
