Description
Crispy baked bacon wrapped yam fries that are caramelized on the outside and tender on the inside.
Ingredients

- 2–3 medium yams
- 10–20 strips of uncured bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 F.
- Cover two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- Cut yams onto 1/2 inch sticks and cut every bacon strip in half.
- Carefully wrap bacon strips around yam sticks and place them on the baking sheets, without crowding the pan. If you run out of bacon, place yam sticks by themselves for them to bake as well.
- Bake fries, turning once and rotating pans once, until edges are lightly browned, around 15-20 minutes. Fries are done with the surface looks crispy and the fries and bacon have puffed up a bit. Serve immediately along with ketchup or favorite dip.
