Description
These Bacon Pesto Stuffed Burgers are absolutely fantastic, especially when you’re craving some protein with lots of flavor. Paleo approved, naturally gluten-free and dairy-free.

- lb ground beef
- 4 tbsp of Paleo Pesto (read below for homemade)
- 5 strips of bacon, cooked and diced
- 1 tbsp Montreal Steak spice
Instructions
- Make patties. Set broiler on high, arranging rack so that patties are about 2″ from the heat.
- Mix ground beef and Montreal Steak spice in a bowl, and form 8 thin patties out of the mixture, setting them on a plate.
- Transfer 4 patties to a baking pan, aligning them on a straight line lengthwise in the middle; add 1 tbsp pesto and a few pieces of bacon on the middle of each patty; cover with remaining 4 patties and pinch the meat around the edges to keep the pesto and bacon stuffing inside.
- Broil for 12 minutes total, flipping patties half way. Serve right away with favorite condiments.
Notes
- I recommend topping each patty with a bit of Sriracha sauce…you know, to add some zing.
