I am beyond excited about this 29 Paleo Treat Recipes round-up! And you guys are in for a total “treat” today. (Get it, get it?)
I have tried every single one of these recipes and I can attest to the fact that they are out of this world delish. All of them. Not a single one stays behind. If I could, I would jump into each of these photos right now, and just go to town on all of these delicious treats.
I am a total sucker for Paleo Treat Recipes and goodies; they will get me every time. I try to not make them as often in our home, because every time I do make treats, I end up eating the entire recipe, haha. But since it’s not okay for a Paleo blogger to not make Paleo treats in her kitchen (wah-wah), I’ve had to cope.
How do I cope? I get tricky.
First, I make sure the treats are strategically made when my husband is home (he is the ultimate treat-eater). Second, as soon as the treats are done cooking/baking, I take a small bite (okay, two) to “taste-test it” (this being my favorite part of the process, obviously). Third, if the recipe gets my “thumbs-up”, I will feed as much as I can of it to my treat-eater to reduce the amount that is available for me to eat (totes tricky). Fourth, I pack whatever is left of the treat and proceed by gifting it to a friend. Boom. Treat has been consumed in its entirety, and I’ve only taken one (two) bites! Easy peasy and genius. If you have kids, then you’re definitely going to have an easy time getting these treats consumed by the whole family.
Once in a while, though, I don’t like having just one bite of the Paleo treats I make. Sometimes, I like to let go and have fun by really indulging. And when the day comes when I decide to have a big serving of one of my treats…I decide to do so in the morning. Yup, you read right…morning. Morning + treats = Amazing. Why? Well, because it is out of the ordinary (like the treat itself), and that makes the experience extra great. Plus, there is nothing better than starting your day bright…and Paleo treats will give you just that!
So how about you try this too! Leave every reservation at the door and just do it. Trust me. Having Paleo treats for breakfast will rock your world. (And really, these treats are all made with the best ingredients available…so they’re actually good for you if you don’t over do it. Paleo treats are not normal treats, they are nutritious and healthy.)
Make sure you make yourself a nice cup of joe (or tea, if that is your jam) to have along with your treat. It’ll be a pairing to remember.
